Sanlucar de Barrameda is a locality in southern Spain in the province of Cadiz, region of Andalusia. Here the mouth of the Guadalquivir River is located as well as the National Park of Donana. It is a city with a population of 70,000, only 40 kms from Cadiz city and 130kms from Seville.
Sanlucar in the province of Cadiz is a city that lives from tourism, fishing, and it's king prawns that are well known internantionally. It also has a natural marina. It's geographical situation has made it a reference point throughout the centuries since everything that goes in and out of the Guadalquivir River must go through Sanlucar. For this reason Sanlucar was a key location amongst other in the discovery and conquest of America.
Sanlucar since 1973 has become a historic and artistic complex, one of the most prosperous cities in Spain for it's gastronomy, restaurnts, king prawn, beaches, wines, surroundings, and everything else that makes this city a preferred tourist destination. No other place compares.
It is a lcoality that borders with the Atlantic Ocean, the Guadalquivir River, National Park of Donana, Trebujena, Chipiona, Jerez, Rota, and Puerto de Santa Maria.
